    In depth

    Verdict

Ivona, the Godolphin horse, is given preference here ahead of Basanti and Sir Michael Stoute's filly Mumayeza. The majority, including the selection, are seeing a racecourse for the first time, so any market moves could be taken into account here. Barry Hills' Basanti is having her third run, she showed some improvement last time out following a slow starting debut and further progress could see her involved at the business end. Mumayeza and Ivona are making their debuts and are likely to be well supported, but could find one of the other unknowns to be too good. However in the absence of too many pointers, we'll tentatively side with Ivona.
