      Verdict

The in-form Bucharest can continue on his merry way; while Garvenie Beau will be good value to make the frame and, along with On The Map and the unexposed Navene, can be expected to go close. Navene has improved with each start so far and, as a mark of 58 is far from restricting, she has plenty of scope for improvement. Watch the market carefully where she is concerned. One The Map is only 4lb higher for her course and distance success from last month and, as this is a slightly tougher ask, she makes the shortlist. However, her previous form was nothing special, so she does need to prove she can dish out a repeat dose. Garvenie Beau is a more sporting choice, as his recent efforts have been very modest. Still, he has dropped to a fair mark as a result and cannot be ruled out if he is on song. Nevertheless, Bucharest is really on a roll just now and, as Michael Wigham seems to have got to the bottom of whatever was troubling his training progress (the gelding had been withdrawn from races with vets certificates on several occasion before winning his last two starts). So it seems folly to desert the son of Barathea whilst he is in the form of his life.
