Verdict

Farewell Gift, Polar Sun and Bold Bunny are the three we like here and the nomination is given to Farewell Gift. The selection is proving expensive to follow but he is given one final chance to recoup losses on the basis of his solid effort last time when a good third behind Conjuror. He is effective on a variety of surfaces and he looks the one to beat with Richard Hughes doing the steering. Polar Sun improved on his debut effort when a good third at Newmarket last time behind Surreptitious. However, he is dropped slightly in trip here and he may not quite have the pace to see off his rivals over 6 furlongs. Bold Bunny has shown promise on both of his runs to date. He hails from a yard in form and if the market speaks in his favour then it could pay to take the hint. Thomas Lawrence is from a top yard and looks the best of the rest but we will return to Farewell Gift as our idea of the winner.
