Assuming the market agrees this could be a four-timer for PRINCE CHARLEMAGNE who is nominated ahead of Lytham and Dan Tucker. A 6lb penalty takes the selection up to a mark that he has struggled to win from in the last couple of seasons, however if we go back to 2006 he was a winner off 80. There is no doubt that he is in excellent nick at the moment and assuming that this hold-up performer gets the breaks late on, he is unlikely to be far away. Fantasy Ride was disappointing last time out but Jeff Pearce's gelding is better than that, and although his overall record is frustrating he is not to be overlooked. Lytham is a multiple course winner and Tony Carroll's eight-year-old has a good strike-rate for a modest horse. Shanafarahan is open to improvement as a relatively young horse and he showed determination when getting off the mark last time at Lingfield; a 7lb higher mark makes life tougher however. Sweet Request and Mr Mischief return from lengthy absences, whilst Oberlin is one to watch in the betting off a basement mark. Dan Tucker, a previous course winner is another to consider in an open race, but it is the in-form Prince Charlemagne who can win again
