In depth

Verdict

A typically competitive sprint to end with. B A Highflyer had a busy, but successful time in his first season, winning three times. He is relatively exposed, but he does have the added bonus of the rail to race against, and he should go well. Stablemate Malapropism, who isn't the most straightforward of rides, is capable if things go his way, while Whippersnapper is better treated on turf rather than the All-Weather, but there is a suspicion he may need some give underfoot. A chance is taken with Override, who confirmed he had trained on when runner up to Cala at Warwick earlier this month. That form received a boost when the winner went on to finish second to Khulood in the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket this week and if that can be believed, Override looks thrown in.
