Verdict

PEARL RANSOM made the most of a slide down the weights to score at Lingfield last month. He can effectively race off a lower mark today with Ali Rawlinson's allowance taken into account and can go in again. Bennelong is upped 8lb on the back of a couple of victories over track and trip while Fleetwoodsands has a 4lb rise to contend with after scoring here last time. Fire King has been raised the same amount for winning a Class 7 event at the track but Up Tipp has the beating of Divine Rule and Warbond on collateral form on his latest second at Lingfield and could have each-way claims.
