GRAND MEISTER came here for an apprentices' race a week ago and was very well supported. Always travelling nicely, he was always in command and escapes a penalty so should complete a quick double with his young rider's claim another bonus. Mark Johnston acquired Got To Dream from Kevin Prendergast and watched her win a little handicap on soft going at Beverley last week by an eased-down nine lengths. A 6lb penalty shouldn't be a problem and she's an obvious danger. The Middleham handler also runs Fire Fighting, another with a recent Beverley victory to his credit, and he ran very well over 1m2f at Newbury last time. Jarlath has won twice around here but has been raised 8lb for his recent success at Newbury while Invasor Luck was an odds-on chance when beaten in a maiden here last time.
