Verdict

Cavalry Guard produced a better effort when runner-up at Lingfield last time and could figure if taking advantage of a favourable draw. Royal Envoy is not out of this back over 7f and had Aggbag and Kenswick behind when fourth here on his latest start, while the latter also has a bit to find with Hi Spec on earlier running. However, CLEARING HOUSE has won two of his last three starts, both over a mile at Lingfield, and this drop in class should more than compensate for today's different conditions so John Ryan's charge gets the vote.
