Verdict

It looked as though LADY OF LONGSTONE had reverted to type when pulled up at Uttoxeter at the end of last month but she then finished second to Lily Waugh at Wincanton off a 7lb higher mark. The David Pipe mare stays well and, with David Noonan taking off a useful 5lb, she could give supporters a run for their money in this. Presence Felt has won two of his last three and is on an upward curve so looks a threat while Presenting Lisa made a winning return to action at Market Rasen. But Romulus Du Donjon's run at Ascot suggests he is now in the grip of the handicapper and Monetary Fund showed little back over hurdles at Bangor. Giveitachance won at Huntingdon at the start of the month but the second and third were both well beaten back at that track on Saturday.
