Verdict

A competitive Listed race with French raider Dogma closely matched with Bess Of Hardwick on latest running at Lingfield though the latter looks the more progressive and can confirm superiority. Curbyourenthusiasm is better over further nowadays and won a decent handicap over 1m6f at Chelmsford last time while Chemical Charge was placed in a Group 3 in Ireland and has joined Ralph Beckett subsequently. Lady Of Camelot has been thereabouts in pattern company this year and is not out of this but STAR STORM (NAP) returned to form with creditable second to the higher rated Western Hymn over track and trip three weeks ago and James Fanshawe’s colt should go very close with a repeat effort. Crimean Tatar made an impressive start when scoring at Newmarket in July and is the least exposed.
