Although Braddock shaped well when placing at Listowel last time his previous form is off putting so instead we like last time out winner SAM'S CROSS to get the better of Ghost Dancer in a poor looking apprentice handicap Very few of these runners come into this race in any sort of form so the course and distance success for the selection last time makes encouraging reading. That was his first attempt at tackling the six furlongs at this venue and he's allowed to run of the same mark again. Braddock put in his best effort for some time when placing in a weak handicap last time. He's better off here with his pilot's claim easing his load but his previous runs offer more questions than answers. Ghost Dancer is running well at present with limited success but now back to his last winning rating Milton Bradley's charge should very much be a leading light this time. Todber should be fitter for his spin at Lingfield last time after a break but is still five pounds heavier than when last getting in front so in a tricky contest Sam's Cross has most in his favour.
