Sir Note has won four of his five starts over fences and was returning from a break when scoring at Leicester in December. However, he has been raised 10lb for that and others may be better treated. Barry Geraghty’s mount is proving hard to catch right but the handicapper is finally starting to show him some mercy and he’s more than capable of winning this if cheekpieces help him concentrate. There looked to be something amiss with Uhlan Bute last time and Gores Island is proving hard to place. Lemon's Gent pops up when least expected but has never won two races in succession and Easy Street has gone right off the boil. Ballycoe still looks too high in the weights.
