LUCKY REDBACK may be able to record his second success of the year by getting the better of Billberry and Caprio. The selection had been off the track for a long time prior to winning over six furlongs at Lingfield and he looked as though he was a horse worth following at that stage but his supporters came unstuck when he could only finish third over this course and distance. He's tried in blinkers and is given another chance. Billberry has been in good form at Lingfield since the turn of the year and has run well over this course and distance in the past so makes the short-list along with the consistent Caprio who merits respect having gone close in a similar event over course and distance last time. Tony Carroll's horses have been running well so Jake The Snake shouldn't be ignored despite having finished behind both Caprio and the selection last time whilst Dinner Date and Gallantry can't be ignored but Lucky Redback is taken to strike.
