Verdict

Disappointingly just the four runners line up for the closing event on the card but every one of the quartet has claims with the vote just going to Mark Johnston's recent Lingfield maiden winner GRAYFRIARSCHORISTA, who looks to be well treated for his debut in a handicap off a mark of just 72, and he is preferred to Lisahane Bog and The Glamour Cat. Marco Botti's filly won well on her first start for new connections at Wolverhampton earlier this month and the Irish import has every chance but an 8lb rise for that success makes this more difficult. David Arbuthnot's Fazza has been running well in races over seven furlongs of late and he may do better stepped up to a mile, although he may be a shade high in the weights. Peter Hedger's Lisahane Bog won four races on the bounce prior to finding just Exceedthewildman too good at Lingfield last time and he has solid claims racing off just a 1lb higher mark today. Mark Johnston can do little wrong with his runners at present though and Greyfriarschorista looks worth chancing on his handicap debut.
