Verdict

Bally Legend has won over 2m7f over hurdles so should stay the extra here, though his best form is undoubtedly over shorter. Polisky finds little off the bridle and has climbed the weights again while Merrion Square has gone up 4lb since his close second at Sandown. AMERICAN SPIN runs from the front so might enjoy this sharp track and he's certainly handicapped to be thereabouts. He gets a tentative vote with Niceonefrankie looking too high in the weights and Ma Filleule rather out of sorts so far this season. Forest Walker is unexposed, however, and On Trend has the ability to win off his current mark but lost interest very quickly last time.
