Whimsical has claims on her earlier second at Salisbury and Jellicle looks sure to improve on her debut fifth at Yarmouth. Neither are helped by a high draw today, however, and preference goes to AMBER SILK. She shaped like a non-stayer over a mile at Goodwood last month, but had finished second over today's trip at the same track on her debut and gets a tentative vote to open her account. Proud Pearl is another with experience who could figure, but the debutants from powerful yards complicate matters and Yanabeeaa, Intifal, Garzoni and Furzanah are all worth a second look in the betting.
