Verdict

Litmus is a half-sister to a 6f winner and Gull Rock's pedigree is packed with speed. Those two stand out from the debutantes but it could pay to stick with FURBELOW. She made a only a modest debut when seventh at Newmarket last month but this looks easier and the drop back in distance should help her cause. Catflap improved to take second at Lingfield on her latest start and should be winning one of these events before long and it would be no surprise if Cynthia Calhoun has come on over the winter having made her debut at Goodwood in October.
