ONE GOOD EMPEROR looks a horse on the upgrade and he is given the vote to break his maiden at the expense of Indian Valley and Dormer Fleet. The selection improved from his debut at Goodwood after finishing third to Adele Blanc Sec at Lingfield last time out. He seemed to handle the conditions that day and this extra furlong is sure to enhance his chances. Indian Valley showed promise on her debut after finishing an eyecatching second to Epic. She ran a little green that day and is likely to have benefitted for the experience. Of the newcomers, Dormer Fleet looks the pick on breeding - being by Kyllachy and out of a Petong mare. He is trained by John Gosden, who has a great strike rate with his all-weather horses so support in the market should be monitored. One Good Emperor is progressing with experience and is taken to break his maiden tag on the third time of asking.
