In depth

Verdict

Claregate Street was in the lead at this trip at Dundalk on Thursday before weakening close home though she may be a couple of pounds high at present. Bibliotheca found his form in no uncertain terms at Ballinrobe, scoring by 7l from subsequent winner Temasek Star though a 13lb rise makes this much more difficult. Dancing Doll is slowly dropping to a winnable mark and will be taking advantage before long but BIRTH OF VENUS looks the one to be on. Henry De Bromhead's filly was receiving 4lb from Dawn Hoofer when beating her a length at Gowran an is getting 8lb here so will be difficult to beat.
