Verdict

PASS THE BALL, three times a winner between the flags, showed his versatility on the Flat at Bellewstown earlier this month when scoring over 1m6f. He looks on a lenient mark back over timber. Officers Mess gained his only success to date on soft ground at Wexford while Naturally Blond only got as far as the first at Roscommon last week when attempting a quick double after scoring over the minimum at Wexford. Messie is still a maiden but ran easily his best race to date when a close third behind Ingleby Mackenzie at Gowran and the winner has a chance earlier. Courtin Bb won over 2m5f at Tramore last month but didn't stay 3m at Tipperary last time.
