Verdict

The Flat-bred Global Fella was a little disappointing when favourite for a Chepstow bumper in April. He may be best watched on his hurdling debut but it would be no surprise to see dual points winner BALLYCASSEL go close on his first start for Nigel Twiston-Davies. The yard has suffered a few setbacks in recent days but their six-year-old looks a nice prospect. Rowan Tiger also warrants respect following a narrow defeat by previous winner Phoenix Flight over C&D at the start of the month and Jodawes was second at Plumpton in October. Minsky Mine and Salomo may be improving while Nazreef has won six times on the Flat, though only of those victories came on turf.
