Storm Melody will handle the ground but the recent Bath second has only one win to his name and is still 3lb higher. The Groove arrives in good form but he’s tackling a sprint distance for the first time and needs the mud to be effective over 7f. Hindsight never threatened on her handicap debut but Catterick third Cupid's Arrow and Mad Endeavour probably have each-way claims. BOLD SPIRIT is also still at the right end of the handicap and, though he tends to reserve his best for turning tracks, has won off a higher mark than this so should give a good account.
