Verdict

None of those with experience have exactly sparkled so far so we'll concentrate on the newcomers. Shahralasal is speedily-bred and has to go on the short-list while Pulcinella is a half-sister to three winners, though may need further than this. Hawkin is related to the useful Royal Power and her yard has been in decent form. But TAAQAH was an expensive buy and is a half-sister to Lancelot Du Lac, who has won three times over 6f. She's worth a very close look in the betting and gets the nod. Finial, a daughter of Dutch Art, may be best of the rest.
