A very open finale, in which we'll side with LUNAR PROMISE, to get the better of Roodolph and Jawaab. The selection was narrowly beaten in a better handicap than this last time out, being beaten by a short priced favourite, but was well clear of the remainder. He won't mind whatever cut in the ground there is, and a 50 day lay off will see him fresh. He's the only runner on the card for Ian Williams, and the sole ride for Stephen Donohoe. Jaawab won last time out following a switch to Willie Muir's yard, and is usually competitive giving backers a run for their money. The same's the case for Roodolph, Eve Johnson Houghton's runner, but maybe he's a little high in the weights to make a serious challenge. None can really be ruled out in what looks a competitive contest, but we'll support Lunar Promise.
