      Verdict

      GHINIA is taken to defy top weight having found only one too good at Newmarket last time. Pam Sly's filly should find this less competitive with only Gleneely Girl arriving in comparable form. The latter went close at Beverley recently having placed here before that behind Edge Of Heaven, who has since won again. Atlantic Affair remains unreliable and Grand Spirit has failed to show any progress having made a promising comeback at Lingfield. Elusive Guest was having his first start since April when a modest sixth at Windsor so may be sharper for this.
