Three-year-olds have won four of the past six and can keep up the sequence with EXNING HALT. James Fanshawe's charge has been unfortunate to bump into a couple of well-handicapped types on his two latest starts and this should prove within his capabilities. Spyder will love the conditions but it was only a moderate event that he finished runner-up in at Nottingham and a 3lb rise looks harsh. Chatterer twice ran well over this trip before finding 1m4f beyond her at Ripon but the main threat looks to be Cape Explorer. James Tate's charge has won twice - both times on this track on fast ground. He's never raced on going this soft but if taking to it then he'd be in the frame. Sky Khan has been going well on Polytrack and there's no reason why he shouldn't improve on Turf while Kampai ran her best race to date on very heavy going at Brighton a week ago.
