John Ferguson has acquired some smart performers from the Flat in his time but few will have had the credentials of DUBAI PRINCE, who has been found a nice opportunity to make a winning start over hurdles. A Group 3 winner for Dermot Weld, he joined Godolphin and landed York's Group 3 Strensall Stakes on his final start last August and his new trainer has an excellent record with similar types. Catching On, a winning point-to-pointer, started odds-on for his hurdling debut at Wetherby last December but pulled up on the soft ground. He's expected to do much better while Ballygrooby Bertie has shown a bit of promise on his last two starts and Algernon Pazham has run well in two fast ground bumpers.
