DIAMONDS A DANCING (NAP) has won twice over a mile at Chepstow this summer but dropping to 6f didn't prove too much on an inconvenience last time at Hamilton as he was only beaten half-a-length. This trip looks a happy medium and the excellent Adam McNamara rides. Champagne Bob is usually thereabouts but has only ever won on soft going, including over this course and distance. Hardy Black has won on Turf but is better on the all-weather and connections will also have a winter campaign in mind for Lunar Deity.
