TOTAL IMPACT is taken to land this competitive handicap, while both Incomparable and The Tatling are others to note. The selection won at Doncaster earlier in the month and was not discredited after finishing third behind Colorus at Yarmouth last time out. He runs off a three pound higher mark this time around but if reproducing his recent form he will not be far away come the business end of the race. Incomparable has been penalised with a seven pound rise in the weights after winning at Doncaster last time out. He now runs off a career high mark which will make life tough and a personal best will be required for success. Milton Bradley had a couple of years in the doldrums, but his horses have come good this year and The Tatling has been no exception. He won back to back racers at Bath and Newbury during the summer and was not beaten far when third to Filligree last time out and another bold bid can be expected. Total Impact looks well treated and is the percentage call.
