Verdict

This appears the weaker of the two divisions of this novice hurdle and is a good opportunity for INVICTUS to open his account over timber. Alan King's gelding won a point-to-point in Ireland last year and shaped nicely on his debut under Rules earlier this month when a close fourth to Master Hyde at Plumpton. Extremely So sprang a surprise on her debut over hurdles at Folkestone and wasn't disgraced when third to Gibb River at Plumpton subsequently. She should be in the money again and preferred to points winner Areuwitmenow and the steadily improving Empire Builder of the remainder.
