In depth

Verdict

Unmoothaj looks to have the strongest form of last season on his fourth over a mile at Sandown. Unsurprisingly, Paul Hanagan prefers him to Tallaay, well beaten in both starts to date. Just Darcy finished a modest seventh on her debut at Yarmouth over an inadequate 7f but better is expected from her and the recent Wolverhampton runner-up Maakirr. However, any strong support in the betting for the newcomer CONTINUUM could prove significant. He can boast Group 1 winners and former stablemates Passage Of Time and Timepiece among his close relatives so Sir Henry Cecil's colt gets the nod to make a winning introduction.
