It's hard to imagine a daughter of Sir Percy out of a winning jumper having the speed for this but PERSUN defied her pedigree with an excellent debut behind Clouds Rest at Newbury and normal progress can see her go one better. Golden Zephyr showed good pace on her debut at Ascot to suggest she'll come on enough to get into the action, a remark that also applies to Paint The Star, who showed pace throughout at Windsor but just couldn't quicken at the finish. London Life's second to the smart Ballymore Castle at Chester was another fine run and she'll be winning soon. The newcomer Effusive is the first foal of a winning juvenile so she should have plenty of pace.
