Fairyinthewind and MIDAS MEDUSA finished third and fourth in an ordinary Newmarket maiden won by Royal Blush and both will surely benefit from the experience. The former showed good early pace before fading late on, whereas little went right for the Hannon charge and it might be worth chancing the latter to prove her running there was all wrong. Stable juveniles are in typically good heart. The market will provide valuable clues for expectations surrounding some interesting newcomers, of whom Lara and another Hannon inmate, Shannon Spree, take the eye on paper. Toffee Tart was a disappointing long odds-on failure at Bath but she has experience on her side and it's too early to write her off yet.
