Verdict

The three to have run are all possible improvers with Prerogative taken as the most likely of the trio but considerable progression is required by all three. John Gosden knows the family of OUTRE MER extremely well having trained his sire, Raven's Pass, to Group 1 success and it is no surprise to see the colt sent to the Newmarket handler by Godolphin. He should have no trouble, like his sire, with good to firm conditions and is taken to make a winning debut in the hope that the market speaks well of his chance. Simon Crisford has already produced one very promising juvenile this term and Rodaini is one to make careful note of here, whilst the likes of Black Trilby, Magillen and Thammin all make some appeal at this early stage in a race where the market should prove highly instructive.
