Verdict

Stonemaster is a very useful hurdler at his best and has reverted to the smaller obstacles after a less than successful spell over fences. He could go well here with Mark Enright's claim a big bonus. Barry Geraghty gets on well with The Bull Hayes so it's not surprising he is on board that one rather than his progressive stablemate Jenari, whose second to Lyreen Legend at Navan has been boosted by the subsequent exploits of the winner. AP McCoy gave The Way We Were a superb ride when landing a C&D maiden last time but this is a much stiffer task while the assessor hit That'Ll Do Me with a 13lb rise after he scored at Punchestown and he couldn't cope in his follow up attempt. CONCRETE AND CLAY looked on good terms with himself when scoring at Gowran in January and was staying on from a long way off the pace when a close fifth here last month. He can take this with a strong gallop likely.
