In depth

Verdict

Jim Bolger won this last year and Einsteins Folly will attract support after his good run over the trip at Gowran where he was just held by Imperial Concorde. That winner's trainer is represented by Johnny Lynch, a son of Holy Roman Emperor out of a winning miler while the Rock Of Gibraltar colt Polished Rock is out of a USA Grade 3 winner and is one to keep an eye on. Johnny Murtagh's presence on Reglisse is interesting but Ballydoyle should have the answer to this and THEATRE looks the one to be on. The Ballydoyle colt, a son of Galileo, took plenty of time to warm up on his debut behind stablemate Lines Of Battle over 6f at the Curragh but stayed on late and will know his job this time around. Stablemate Count Of Limonade wasn't far behind so it would be no shock if he reversed the form and though Rockabilly Riot was just in front he'd already had experience.
