Verdict

Aidan O’Brien has trained all four previous winners and has a line of form with all of today’s opposition so should know where he stands with DOUGLAS MACARTHUR. The latter came good in a course and distance maiden last time and further progress looks assured. Radio Silence was runner-up to Ballydoyle’s Churchill in the Group 2 Futurity at the Curragh last time while Firey Speech beat the O’Brien-trained Sir Edward Landseer in a Galway handicap back in July. Landfall and Percy finished in front of other Ballydoyle representatives when landing their maidens at the Curragh and Killarney respectively.
