Verdict

Ryan Moore prefers Us Army Ranger to the older Bondi Beach and maiden winner Tree of Knowledge, despite his mount disappointing in a Group 3 at the Curragh last time. He was well beaten by Success Days on that occasion and the latter had earlier finished behind ZHUKOVA. Dermot Weld’s filly went on to land a Group 3 at Naas in May when beating a couple of subsequent pattern winners by over seven lengths and she gets the nod to make a winning return after a lay-off. Third in the Irish Derby, Stellar Mass has won both starts since and is not out of this either.
