Verdict

Sardinia, an easy winner at Navan in October for Ballydoyle, scored over timber for new connections in March. Chicago is also a former Ballydoyle inmate who has been in good form over hurdles and he's on a lower mark on the Flat than when he was last successful. Aidan O'Brien should have an angle on both of those and will be hoping the ground stays on the soft side for Egyptian Warrior, who scored on heavy ground at Listowel in September before making a successful reappearance at Dundalk. Dermot Weld will expect the step up in trip to suit the lightly-raced Manhattan Swing, who looked in need of further when staying on over 1m2f here in March. The very versatile Domination probably needs further but TOOREEN LEGEND made all for a very convincing victory over this trip at Dundalk in March and, as that was his first start since October, he should have improved enough to complete a double. Carried and Edge Of Sanity are others to consider in a very open contest.
