Verdict

The remarkable DUNTLE is taken to make a winning reappearance, as she did a year ago when landing a Dundalk maiden by 18 lengths. She later won a Listed handicap at Ascot and a Group 3 here in August and finished first past the post in the Group 1 Matron Stakes over the course and distance in September only to be controversially disqualified. Sweet Lightning finished runner-up to the now retired Famous Name in this last year and made a successful reappearance in the Irish Lincolnshire. He disappointed when odds-on for a Listed contest here last month when Bold Thady Quill was in front but that wasn't his true form. Custom Cut was a long way behind in the Lincolnshire but then made all to land a Group 3 over 7f at the Curragh for which he is penalised. Elusive Ridge has been racing on Polytrack and will need to improve to get involved.
