Verdict

Fastidious has raced over 6f on his last two starts but his only victory came over this trip and the going should be just about right. Ningaloo Reef won a handicap last summer off 47 and is now on 75 after two subsequent victories. The assessor may have got to him while Bendzoldan is 9lb higher than for her latest victory. Romantic is definitely improving and shouldn't be too inconvenienced by a 7lb rise while it's a bout time September Lily was losing her maiden tag though she was a beaten favourite at Limerick on Thursday. MALICIOUS INTENT has only raced six times and made a promising reappearance at Dundalk earlier this month. There should be more to come and his low weight can enable him to gain his first success.
