    Verdict

Scriobhai finished last on his debut a week ago and is the second-string of his yard with Kevin Manning opting for HEIR TO THE MINT, whose pedigree suggests he should have the pace for this. Zoffany is bred to stay a little further but his yard is just beginning to strike form and he must be on the short-list while Clan Jock, by Holy Roman Emperor out of a mare who has produced a couple of winning juveniles, should be an early type and get competitive.
