Verdict

John Oxx and Aidan O'Brien have won seven of the last 10 renewals and the former goes for a hat-trick with Mesariya, a daughter of Sinndar out of a 7f winner. O'Brien saddles WONDER OF WONDERS, a Kingmambo filly whose dam was second in the Oaks and is a sister to Galileo and a half-sister to Sea The Stars. She made a very promising start when unfancied here in October and with progress guaranteed she looks to have a bright future. Palinode is the definite form pick on her second to Kissable here in July and she raced in much better class on her two subsequent starts. Eva's Time and Sikara have shown enough promise to suggest they will win their share this year but Puzzled was behind the selection on her debut and looks held.
