In depth

Verdict

Andy Oliver won this in 2010 and BITSANBOBS is handed an opportunity to gain his first success. He has improved steadily since making his debut in July and was staying on strongly over 7f on testing ground at the Curragh last time. Susiescot has been very consistent though she was beaten a long way when runner-up at Tipperary last time and could be a few pounds high and though Cairdiuil won easily at Galway last month he's since run poorly over hurdles. Regulation will probably have just needed his latest run after a break and can be given a chance on his victory at the Curragh in June but the main threat looks to be Precious Stone, who finally got off the mark after several near misses when tackling Polytrack at Dundalk.
