In depth

Verdict

As in the first division, those near the head of the handicap could dominate. Botanical Lady hasn't done much wrong since winning at Cork at the start of August and is unlikely to be far away again. But she beaten almost three lengths by JEALIKA (NAP) when third over this course and distance three weeks ago and that form was franked when runner-up Enter The Red won at Fairyhouse last week, beating Hatton Cross. Mark Fahey's mare can win again, despite a 6lb rise. A strike rate of 1-43 tells us all we need to know about Clear Focus and Cappadocia has also begun to disappoint.
