Verdict

Crystal Pearl slipped up when looking to have every chance in a much better race than this at Galway and started favourite at Navan last month but was back-pedalling when coming to grief at the last. She could still have a bit of scope and has to be respected. HEAD TURNER gained her third victory of the year with an impressive performance under Ruby Walsh at Ballinrobe. She's 8lb higher but had something in hand and can defy the extra. Wate And Sea won this last year but was in very good form at the time unlike recently and though Brogine ran her best race for some time at Cork she was a long way behind Hello Sweetie there earlier. The latter ran well again at Gowran last time and could provide the main threat.
