Tommy Stack won this a year ago and Tooreen Legend will be fancied to repeat the process despite a disappointing effort at Dundalk two weeks ago. Made favourite after a promising initial run, he travelled well but found little at the business but may do better now on Turf for the first time. Aidan O'Brien tries King Of The Romans in a visor but his overall form is nothing to shout about and the once-raced SILVER LIGHTENING looks the one to be on. Kevin Prendergast's charge made his debut in what looked a decent maiden at the Curragh won by Alpinist last month and caught the eye in no uncertain terms when staying on very strongly in the closing stages. The remainder will need to find more but Paynes Find looks the type to make progress and could go well at a decent price.
