Verdict

Routes Choice has gradually improved with racing and looked at home in the testing conditions over a slightly shorter trip here last month. She'll improve again though the concession of 12lb to TWISS'S HILL looks beyond her. The latter had been threatening to win a race for a while before a very comprehensive victory over three miles at that same meeting and a 9lb rise shouldn't prevent another success on that form. Court Challenge landed a Gowran handicap over the minimum trip in November and has been taking on better company as has Thanks For Tea though the latter's excellent form last summer was produced on good going. None of the remaining trio can be dismissed in a tight little handicap.
