Verdict

Coldstonesober scored his first victory in ten starts over fences at Tramore on Friday and a 4lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run. Jakros hasn't won for over a year but has been competing at a higher level and looks to have dropped to a winnable mark. He looks certain to get involved but Nick Schofield looks to have been fortunate to have picked up the mount on SWORD FISH. Christy Roche' charge, who won a tough handicap at Fairyhouse in April, ran very well over a trip much too short on his return from a long absence at Sligo a couple of weeks ago and that should have put him right for this. Leblon had been in good form until a poor run at Gowran last weekend where he was never in the hunt.
