Verdict

There's very little form to go on here and though Military Device would be the pick on last season's form he's been generally disappointing and looks vulnerable. BURREN TRAIL, who cost 140,000gns and is a sister to a Grade 3 winner in the USA, ran well in both starts on ground with plenty of give last season and with her stable going superbly she's taken to overcome a long absence. David Wachman also runs the once-raced Athenaire who showed up well for a long way in the race won by Just Pretending at Navan last month. Nuestra Alegria could prove best of the remainder after a decent debut at Fairyhouse.
